A picture can say 1,000 words, and we have a lot to say about Havana. Hip swaying latin beats under a tropical, starlit night, the crumbling beauty of the Catedral de la Habana as it stands watch over the Plaza de la Catedral; the pungent wisps of cigar smoke hanging on heavy air, and the dusky, sun-baked faces of “catadores”, men who have spent their lives learning the art of hand-rolling the distinctive Cuban cigar.
The sun-drenched glistening bodies of the beautiful Latina’s and handsome Latino’s vibrate to the captivating beat of street musicians, horse-drawn carriages stumble along cobblestoned streets past sidewalk cafes, and little children flash shy smiles as they play on dusty side-streets alongside the crumbling facades of once glorious & architecturally amazing buildings. Step back in time as Chevy’s, Studebakers, Fords & Ramblers rumble by, belching heavy clouds of leaded gasoline fumes, chrome sparkling as a hot sun burns down out of a cloudless blue sky. Join us as we tell our story with our pictures of Havana Vieja….Enjoy!
